New York wine journalist, Mark Golodetz shares his impressions of this surprising new cellar.

The new cellar opened at Cheval Blanc in time for Vinexpo. On Saturday, journalists from both France and abroad came to admire the building, its rooftop and the glorious views over St.Emilion and Pomerol. Over the years I have visited around a thousand cellars, from small garages to the incredibly expensive and impressive. Yet, there is nothing quite like Cheval Blanc.
